Mike Michalak

President

As a Financial Adviser, I sincerely believe that most people want to do what’s right: right for themselves, right for their families, and right for their communities. In fact, that’s one of the reasons I joined New York Life in 2001, and continue my affiliation with New York Life and Eagle Strategies LLC. I wanted the opportunity to work in an environment that made it easy for people to do right, and more importantly, for me to do right for my clients.

Based on your specific needs, I can introduce you to some proven, dependable ways to help protect your family’s lifestyle and future; or prepare for major financial events such as paying for college, saving for retirement, or caring for an aging relative. Having served as president of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and on the Agent’s Advisory Council for New York Life, I am focused on doing what is best for my individual clients, as well as their families and businesses.

Growing up in West Michigan, attending Grand Valley State University, and raising my own family here now, you can take comfort in the fact that I have a vested interest in the success and prosperity of my community and neighbors. As a husband and father of three, I myself have many of the same hopes and aspirations as my clients, and am happy to share with you all the resources and information that my experience has to offer.

When I’m not working for my clients, my wife Tasha and I enjoy spending time with our children, Brooklyn, Molly, and Brady on the ball field, on the water, or in the woods. I stay active by coaching their teams as well as hunting, fishing, hiking, golfing, and competing in triathlons.

Carrie Senneker

Office Manager

Carrie has worked with (Michael/2M Financial/NYL) since 2011. She came to our office from an administrative position with a veterinary clinic. She is often our first point of contact with our clients and associates. Carrie is happy to assist with scheduling and service requests, as well as coordinating team communications and networking opportunities. Carrie and her husband reside in Kentwood with their 2 children. In her spare time Carrie enjoys live theater and music, gardening, and volunteering at her church and children’s school.

G. Joseph Pasman, Jr.

Joe is an investment adviser representative for Eagle Strategies LLC., a Registered Investment Adviser. Joe is a Registered Representative for NYLIFE Securities LLC; a member of the Chairman’s Council, New York Life Insurance Company; Qualifying and Life Member of the Million Dollar Round Table and Top of Table; member of NAIFA; past president and member of the West Michigan Estate Planning Council; member of the Society of Financial Services Professionals; and a Charter Member Professional Achievement in Continuing Education, Society of Financial Services Professionals.

Joe has served on various charitable boards across the State of Michigan. He is a former board member of Lutheran Child and Family Services, the President’s Endowment Advisory Board of the Michigan District of the Lutheran Church, and he is a member of the Michigan Federation of Children and Families. Joe is currently an elder at Remedy Church in Kentwood, MI. Joe was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Associates – Grand Rapids in 2008.

G. Joseph Pasman, Jr. has been in the estate and financial planning business for more than 40 years. He takes his profession seriously which is evidenced by the many professional designations that he holds. Joe is a CFP®, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), an AEP®, a Chartered Adviser for Senior Living (CASL®), a Chartered Adviser in Philanthropy (CAP®) and has his Master of Science degree in financial Services (MSFS). He holds a Bachelor of Music Degree from Wayne State University and an Associate of Arts from Concordia Lutheran University in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Joe is a member of the Anthony Wayne Society at Wayne State University where he and his wife Ruth endowed a scholarship in the Music Department.

Joe has been married to his wife, Ruth, for 40 years. They have three daughters -- Megan, Bethany and Catherine; five grandchildren (two sets of twins) from Megan -- Charlie & Sophie; Willie & Jacob; and Calvin. Joe sings with the Grand Rapids Symphony Chorus and holds a commercial pilot’s certificate.

Lynette S. Delaney

Office Manager

Lynette joined Joe Pasman 20 years ago in 1998 as his office manager and new business coordinator. Prior to that she had a distinguished 18-year career as a paralegal professional with a major Grand Rapids, Michigan law firm. The knowledge and skills she brought with her have been an asset in the successful operation of the Mr. Pasman’s financial investment business.

Lynette has 2 daughters, 4 grandsons, and two awesome chocolate lab dogs. In her spare time she enjoys good music and conversation, quilting, and she also dabbles in writing and poetry. She is a Suma Cumme Laude graduate from Mason County Central in Scottville, MI and attended Northwestern Michigan College. Lynette says her most important degree is in Humanity which she has earned through her Church and the School of Life.

Marketing Manager

Sue joined Joe Pasman’s office in 2006 as a marketing manager. She has been in marketing for 40 years. In addition to marketing, she also sets Mr. Pasman’s appointments, coordinates his calendar, and assists with customer service. Sue is very patient and kind. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and is a valuable asset to Mr. Pasman’s business.

Sue has been married to her husband Kim for 44 years and they have two adult children. In her spare time she enjoys being with family and friends, fishing and her two dogs. She is an avid cribbage player and has achieved the Master level but is only 118 points away from Grand Master, which she hopes to achieve in the near future. She competes in tournaments throughout the U.S. that are sponsored by the American Cribbage Congress.

Ryan Goosen handles more than finances. He manages dreams. Through exhaustive planning and rigorous research, Ryan helps businesses and individuals reach their financial goals. After spending more than 20 years in the engineering and medical device industries, his passion took him to strategic financial planning, where he works closely with everyone from young families to retirees to corporations to customize a plan that works best for their circumstances. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Grand Valley State University and later earned an MBA from GVSU. He and his wife, Rechelle, have three children and reside in Caledonia, MI.

Andy Lange

Zack is a Financial Services Professional who began his career with New York Life out of the Michigan General Office. He is a graduate from Grand Valley State University where he studied Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy. Zack was also a captain and two time All-American for Grand Valley's Lacrosse Team. His experience winning the 2014 MCLA DII National Championship is part of what drives his competitive nature. Zack continues to be heavily involved in the lacrosse community of the greater Grand Rapids area. His favorite childhood quotation is "Our greatest glory is not in never falling but rising every time we fall". This belief pushes him to be passionate and driven to help the Grand Rapids community in any way he can which is why he chose this career path and became an agent with us!

Connor Heidenreich

Connor grew up in Holland, MI and attended Grand Valley State University. While studying sociology and business at GVSU, Connor participated in the Men’s Lacrosse program and was part of the MCLA Division II National Championship team. Connor also has a passion for coaching, and has been a lacrosse coach in the area for 5 years.

Connor’s excitement for the financial service industry is sparked by his eagerness to help people plan, grow, and develop their goals. This competitive leadership combined with his personal ambition to always put the, player, parents, or client first is what’s driven his success as an Agent with New York Life.

Ryan joined 2M Financial Group in early 2019 as a financial analyst. He is a graduate of Central Michigan University and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, majoring in Finance. His previous experience includes working in the department of finance for an international automotive glass manufacturer. At 2M, Ryan focuses on evaluating our client’s financial situation by running analysis on their portfolios, generating reports, and creating scenarios to ensure that our clients are in the right position to achieve their desired goals. Ryan enjoys sports, music, and exploring all the great things that Grand Rapids has to offer.
